Dedicated at Work and at Home

For Glenn Fichter, every day in the field brings something new.

Glenn serves as a Field Service Technician for Texas First Rentals at the Bulverde Branch, where he enjoys the opportunity to learn, work on different types of equipment and meet new people along the way. In a role that requires problem-solving, technical knowledge and a commitment to supporting customers, Glenn brings dedication to the job every day.

That same dedication is something his family sees in him, too.

Glenn’s daughter, Madison Fichter, is also building her career with Texas First Rentals. Madison works as a Rental Coordinator at the Fate Branch, creating a special connection between father and daughter within the same organization.

For Glenn, sharing a workplace with Madison has been a meaningful experience. “Sharing a workplace has given me a front-row seat to my daughter’s professional development,” Glenn said. “It’s been gratifying to see her carve out her own path and earn success through her own hard work and dedication.”

While Glenn has built his own career in the field, he has also had the opportunity to watch Madison grow in hers. Seeing her succeed through her own effort has made him especially proud as both a father and a teammate.

Outside of work, Glenn enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors. Fishing is one of his favorite hobbies, and he takes any chance he gets to cast a line. Hunting is also a family tradition, with Glenn and his family making time each year to go hunting together.

At home, Glenn is happiest spending time with his four dogs. His family says he loves being with them, and they are a big part of his life outside of work.

When asked what one word they would use to describe their dad, Madison and her sister chose “dedicated.”

Not only is Glenn dedicated to his work, but he is also dedicated to his family. His daughters describe him as someone who constantly gives his all without fail and serves as a role model in the way he shows up for the people around him.
