Employee Spotlight: John Bufford

At Texas First Rentals, our field teams are essential to delivering dependable service and strong customer relationships. One of those team members is John Bufford, a Field Service Technician who brings experience, teamwork, and a customer-first mindset to everything he does.

John began his career with HOLT CAT, where he spent five years building a strong foundation in equipment service and field operations. He later transitioned to Texas First Rentals, where he found a role that allows him to work hands-on with customers.

In his current position, John enjoys getting out in the field to help customers keep their equipment running safely and efficiently. He also assists with training new Field Service Technicians. This is a responsibility he's grown to truly enjoy. Beyond sharing technical knowledge, John values how training helps strengthen relationships within the field department and builds a reliable network technicians can count on.

One of John's most memorable work experiences was being selected to attend a hunting experience at HOLT Oaks Ranch, an opportunity he describes as unforgettable.

Outside of work, John is married to his wife Taylor, and the two are approaching their second year of marriage. They recently purchased their first home in Granbury and enjoy spending time outdoors fishing, hunting, and playing golf.

John's dedication to his role, willingness to support others, and commitment to customer service reflect the values Texas First Rentals is proud to uphold.
