Finding Solutions and Leading with Energy

Jay Green knows the rental industry can move fast, and that is part of what he enjoys most about the work.

As Branch Manager for Texas First Rentals at the Irving Branch, Jay enjoys finding solutions for customers and navigating the day-to-day pace of the rental business. For him, the challenge is part of the reward.

“What I enjoy most about my job is finding solutions for our customers and the chaos of the rental industry,” Jay said.

That connection to the industry has become even more meaningful as Jay has watched his son, Austin Green, build his own career with Texas First Rentals. Austin serves as a Rental Coordinator at the Mansfield Branch.

“Knowing how well my son would do in this industry, then seeing it in real time come to fruition is very rewarding,” Jay said. “Austin picked up on it very fast, and his knowledge is continually growing.”

Outside of work, Jay enjoys riding motorcycles, playing softball and spending time with his family. He describes his family as loud, full of life and always ready for family trips and activities.

When asked what one word his kids would use to describe him, Jay said the dinner table answer turned into three: playful, fun and sarcastic.

Those words reflect the energy Jay brings to his family and the way he shows up as a father.
