
Jose Irizarry Santiago Named Q2 2026 Technician of the Quarter
Field Service Technician at the Denton branch recognized for technical skill, safety and customer commitment
Texas First Rentals is proud to recognize Jose Irizarry Santiago, Field Service Technician at the Denton branch, as the Q2 2026 Technician of the Quarter.
Since joining HOLT CAT and Texas First Rentals, Jose has grown his career through hard work, training and hands-on experience. He has completed more than 500 hours of training and has developed his technical skills through machine rebuilds, major repairs and the daily problem-solving that comes with being a field technician.
For Jose, one of the most rewarding parts of the job is helping customers when they need it most. Each day brings new challenges, and he enjoys diagnosing issues, repairing equipment and getting machines back up and running. His commitment to quality work, safety and customer support has made a strong impact on the team and the customers he serves.
Jose also brings Values Based Leadership into his work each day by focusing on integrity, teamwork, accountability, excellence and safety. He leads by example, treats others with respect and takes ownership of his responsibilities while helping maintain a safe and collaborative work environment.
Outside of work, Jose enjoys spending time outdoors and sharing hobbies with his brother. They like riding motorcycles, jet skiing and taking their Jeeps out on trails. Family plays an important role in Jose's life. He lives close to his parents, and one of his brothers lives about 30 minutes away, allowing them to spend a lot of time together. His oldest brother still lives in Puerto Rico, but Jose says his family remains close-knit and continues to be a strong source of support and motivation in both his personal and professional life.
