Meet Matthew Padier: A Commitment to Safety and Community in Victoria

Here at Texas First Rentals in Victoria, Matthew Padier plays an important role as a Haul Truck Driver, where safety, responsibility, and reliability are essential every day. In his role, Matthew focuses on making the right decisions on the road and ensuring equipment is transported safely and efficiently to support customers and job sites across the region.

Matthew describes himself as goal-oriented and committed to doing things the right way. "As a haul truck driver, I'm responsible for making the right decisions at all times," he says. "I do my best to complete my goals in a timely manner and as safely as possible." He is also focused on continuing to grow within the company and regularly attends training classes whenever possible. "I'm going to every class I can in order to rise up in the company," he explains.

That dedication shows in his work. Since joining Texas First Rentals Victoria, Matthew has undergone three DOT inspections and received two perfect inspections—an accomplishment that reflects his professionalism and strong attention to safety.

Matthew says one of the things he enjoys most about working at Texas First Rentals Victoria is the camaraderie and family atmosphere within the team. He also appreciates the opportunities employees have to give back to the community through volunteer efforts alongside HOLT CAT Victoria and the United Way group, as well as events like the Victoria Christmas Parade.

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife of 18 years. The two enjoy visiting the beach, going to the movies, and spending time with friends, but most of all, they simply enjoy being together.

Matthew also stays active in his community by volunteering with the Raisin Volunteer Fire Department and supporting Crossroads Guardians of Hope, a nonprofit organization that raises money to assist cancer patients in their time of need.
